Trevor Hande is an experienced civil litigator at Lam Legal – Trial Lawyers with more than a decade of courtroom-focused practice representing clients in complex and high-stakes disputes. He brings deep expertise in trial advocacy, legal strategy, and negotiation, developed through years of hands-on litigation across a wide range of contested matters.

Trevor has extensive experience acting as lead counsel on complex litigation files, where he has been entrusted with strategically significant matters requiring detailed legal analysis, persuasive advocacy, and disciplined case management. His practice spans all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discoveries, mediations, applications, and trials, with a consistent focus on advancing his clients’ interests efficiently and effectively.

Over the course of his career, Trevor has handled disputes involving commercial litigation, construction matters, employment issues, insurance-related claims, strata disputes and other civil disputes. He has appeared before the British Columbia Supreme Court, the British Columbia Court of Appeal, the Federal Court of Canada, and various administrative tribunals. He has advised a wide range of clients ranging from large corporations to small family businesses, employers and employees, contractors and property owners, societies and strata counsels.

Trevor is recognized for his measured courtroom presence, clear and persuasive advocacy, and client-focused approach to dispute resolution. He works closely with clients to develop practical litigation strategies aligned with their legal and business objectives, whether pursuing early resolution or proceeding to trial.

Trevor obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of British Columbia and was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 2010.
